About Us

Established in 2005, Halico Garage Doors is a family run business based in New Mills, High Peak, Derbyshire. Owned and operated by John Norton, a time served multi-skilled maintenance engineer now with over 15 years industrial and domestic garage door fitting experience.

We specialise in the installation, repair and service of all types and makes of domestic garage doors and remote control automation systems, steel roller shutters and window shutters. We supply Steel doors, Timber doors, GRP doors, Plastic doors, and thermally insulated doors, in a variety of finishes, textures and colours, with Up & Over Canopy or Fully Retractable, Side Hinged, Roller and Sectional door mechanisms.

Terms and Conditions

Quotations are valid for 30 days. Non-Returnable Deposits of 40% are required for 'made to measure doors' only, to cover handling and manufacturing charges, should the order be cancelled. You must confirm any amendments within 24 hours of receiving your quotation. Payments are due upon completion of works and by credit / debit card, cash or cheque made payable to “Halico Garage Doors”. Credit card payments are subject to a further 2.5% surcharge. All Goods remain the property of “Halico Garage Doors” until paid for in full.

Warranty Procedure

All defects should be reported to Halico Garage Doors as soon as possible in order to maintain your warranty. Simply call our office and we'll arrange a convenient date and time to inspect the door or equipment, you will not have to contact the manufacturer.

Manufacturer's Limited Warranty

Every garage door and operator that we install is covered by a manufacturer's limited warranty of up to 10 years. In order to maintain a full warranty doors should be inspected annually. Please refer to the table below and brochures provided.

Mechanical defects - varies with manufacturers (max 10 years).
Surface finish - varies with manufacturers (max 10 years).
Installation (frames and fixings) - 12 months guarantee with Halico.
Replaced parts - varies with manufacturers (min 12 months).
Fitting of replacement parts - 3 months with Halico Garage Doors.
Motor - varies with manufacturer (max 5 years).
Accessories - 12 months with manufacturers.
Motor Installation - 12 months guarantee with Halico Garage Doors.
